Carly Pearce joins her duet partner ‘Maybe This Christmas’ Michael Buble to serve as a Playoff advisor to his team The voice.

Bublé said in a new promo shared to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon (November 26) that Pearce is “one of the hottest acts in the most popular music genre in the world,” and that he is “a genius” to be working with her on the smashing competition show .

“I love The voice. I’ve always wanted to be a part of something like this,” Pearce said as she stepped into her role as Playoff advisor. “You can see yourself in these artists and you see the dream that they have, and you see the potential.

“There are so few voices of any generation – Tracy Chapman, Adele – you know who it is within three notes. And you have one of those,” says the hummingbird star said a Team Michael singer. Pearce told another: ‘I was fourteen and went to sing Dolly Parton‘s theme park, Dollywood., because I knew I had a dream. And I’m just telling you, believe you can do it, and don’t chase anything else, because this is what you are meant to do.”
