Hours before news of his split from Zoë Kravitz became public, Channing Tatum shared a post about their upcoming appearance in the Zellner brothers’ upcoming film. Alpha gang.

The post, which at the time of writing is still on the actor’s Instagram Stories, was a screenshot of a Deadline story about the project, initially shared by Dave Bautista.

According to the outlet, the film, starring and produced by Cate Blanchett, will also feature Steven Yeun, Léa Seydoux and Riley Keough in addition to Bautista, 55, Kravitz, 35, and Tatum, 44.

Although Tatum didn’t post any text with his post, Bautista shared the post on his main feed.

“Alpha gang follows alien invaders disguised as a ruthless 1950s motorcycle gang sent to conquer Earth – until emotions derail their mission,” Bautista captioned the post. Get ready for something epic! #AlfaGang.”

Earlier on Tuesday, PEOPLE reported, citing multiple sources, that Kravitz and Tatum have ended their three-year relationship.

The two first sparked dating rumors after Kravitz cast Tatum in her film Blink twice early 2021. Sources confirmed their romance to PEOPLE in September. In October 2023, PEOPLE confirmed that the two were engaged.

Kravitz’s father, Lenny Kravitz, responded to the news in a January conversation with Entertainment tonightand said, “If your family is happy, if your child is happy, that’s it – I did a good job. Blessed.”

In July, Tatum spoke to PEOPLE about working with Kravitz Blink twice, She said that although it was “one of the hardest films I’ve worked on… for a lot of different reasons”, she made it all worth it.

“When you can look across the room or on set and know that you have the best person next to you trying to solve problems, and you’re really looking to them for answers, just as much as if you were trying to solve them yourself to solve it is unbelievable,” he said at the time.

Kravitz shared similar sentiments about working with Tatum in August, expressing her wish for the two to work together again.
