Chargers injury news immediately after loss vs. Cardinals

The Los Angeles Chargers lost to the Arizona Cardinals Monday night football in week 7, 17-15.

Along the way, the Chargers were fortunate to sustain few major injuries. Good thing too, considering how battered the wideout and cornerback depth charts came into the game.

Here’s a quick look at injury notes from just after the game became final.

QB Justin Herbert

Herbert appeared to hurt his thumb at one point during the procedure and was seen on the sidelines getting frozen. While he didn’t come out of the game, it’s something to keep an eye on as we enter Week 8 with a short turnaround.

DL Otito Ogbonia

The inside defender went down in the fourth quarter and needed help from trainers to leave the field to the sideline. He was a key presence in the middle alongside breakthrough Poona Ford.

W. R. Ladd McConkey

The breakout rookie clearly wasn’t 100 percent on the night and even came out of halftime to watch as Simi Fehoko and Jalen Reagor soaked up snaps.
