The Bolts used a strong second half to earn a 27-17 victory over the Titans on Sunday and move to 6-3.

Justin Herbert, Derwin James, Khalil Mack, Bradley Bozeman, Rashawn Slater and Nick Niemann were the Chargers’ captains. Tennessee won the coin toss and elected to postpone. Herbert and the Bolts’ offense started on its own 30-yard line. The Bolts used poise (32 rushing yards and 31 passing yards) to get within the 5, but had to settle for a 20-yard field goal by Cam Dicker. The Titans responded with a scoring drive of their own that ended with a 42-yard touchdown pass. The Chargers went three-and-out on their ensuing possession as the Titans started at their own 16, but Tennessee also went three-and-out on offense. The Bolts trailed 7-3 at the end of the first quarter.
