Lady Gaga has arrived.

The 38-year-old multi-talent closed the red carpet at the 2024 Venice Film Festival on September 4 for the premiere of Joker: Foil for Twoin which She plays Harley Quinn.

At the Italian event, where she walked the red carpet with her co-star Joaquin Phoenix, the film’s director Todd Phillips and her fiancé Michael Polansky, Gaga wore a suitably glamorous look. She wore a voluminous black dress with a plunging neckline and a sheer skirt. The star of her outfit, however, was her glittering lace Philip Treacy headpiece.

The lace covered Gaga’s eyes and came to two points on top of her head for a dramatic effect. The singer also accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry and her favorite platform boots, which peeked out from under her dress when she hiked up her skirt on the red carpet.

In continuation of the 2019 jokerGaga takes on the role of Harley, who has been played by numerous other actresses (although mostly in voice only), including Margot Robbie, Mia Sara, Kaley Cuoco and more. However, the “Bad Romance” singer makes the Joker: Foil for Two Harley Quinn all her own.

“My version of Harley is mine and is very authentic to this film and these characters, and I don’t want to give anything away from the film,” she said. Access to Hollywood on the red carpet of her Gaga Chromatica Ball screening and dance party on May 23. “I think it’s really something you have to experience in the theater.”

“This movie has music, dancing, and great acting,” she added. “I loved working with Joaquin, I loved working with (director) Todd (Phillips). What I will say is I’ve never done anything like this movie before, so it’s going to be completely new and a lot of fun.”

Lady Gaga’s glamorous performance in Venice comes hot on the heels of her equally glamorous performance in Paris at the 2024 Olympic Games in July, where she kicked off the opening ceremony with a performance of “Mon Truc en Plumes” in a cabaret outfit full of feathers and glitter.

She took to the stage by the Seine in a full Dior Haute Couture look, wearing a black feathered jacket over a black satin bustier and panties. The pièce de résistance of the fashion moment was the black and pink feathered and sequined skirt. She also wore a Dior headpiece, gloves and shoes. Of course!

At the end of her performance, the Grammy winner removed her skirt to reveal a second look, consisting of a black satin bustier by Dior and a pair of briefs with a white feather pom-pom, which honored the cabaret atmosphere of the performance.
