Clemson responded to Louisville’s early field goal by creating a strong drive to end the first quarter with a 7-3 Death Valley lead.

After starting with two three-and-outs, the Tigers found their rhythm on their third drive, covering 75 yards in 11 plays in just four and a half minutes. Quarterback Cade Klubnik connected with Antonio Williams for a 12-yard touchdown to end the possession.

Clemson’s offense started the game slowly after the bye, but this drive, like many this season, proved that this Clemson team is different than the past few. They will look to build on their great drive and keep the pressure on the Cardinals.
