FOX 17 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Craig’s forecast: GALE WARNINGS remain in effect on Lake Michigan today! A WIND ADVICE has been posted for most of our area from 2:00 PM this afternoon until 2:00 AM this evening. Sustained southwesterly/westerly winds of 25 to 30 km/h are possible, with gusts of 40 to 50 km/h possible. There may be a few showers today with a chance of thunderstorms if a strong cold front comes through. The best chance for rain and isolated thunderstorms is this morning into early afternoon, with drier trends heading into trick-or-treat time. Temperatures will drop from the upper 60s/near 70s to the upper 50s by trick-or-treat time, and it will be windy and blustery. There are more chances of rain and possibly a fairly wet period from Sunday afternoon until next Tuesday. Stay tuned to FOX 17 for the latest weather updates.

TODAY / HALLOWEEN: **WIND ADVICE** Cloudy, windy and mild with a chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm, especially in the morning and early afternoon. Showers will taper off by mid/late afternoon in time for trick-or-treaters. Highs around 70 early, then dropping into the 50s in the afternoon. Wind southwest 15 to 30 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph.

THIS EVENING: Mostly cloudy and windy with a chance of showers. Lows in the lower 40s. Wind west west at 15 to 25 mph.

FRIDAY: Morning clouds, but becoming sunny to partly cloudy and cooler. Highs in the lower 50s. Wind northwesterly at 5 to 15 km/h.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and slightly warmer with highs around 50 degrees.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy in the afternoon and evening, with some showers. Highlights mid-1950s.

MONDAY: Cloudy with a chance of rain. A bit warmer with highs in the mid 60s.
