Comedian Jim Gaffigan’s blistering jabs at Vice President Kamala Harris and fellow Democrats at the Al Smith dinner have spread like wildfire on social media — with some calling his takedown jokes the “murder of an entire political party.” .

Gaffigan took repeated shots at the Democratic candidate during Thursday night’s glitzy event in Manhattan, after Harris became the first presidential candidate in four decades to skip the light-hearted Catholic charity event.

“You know, this event is also called the Catholic Met Gala. Twenty-two percent of Americans identify as Catholic. Catholics will be an important demographic group in every battleground state. I’m sorry, why isn’t Vice President Harris here? the joker said while attending the charity dinner.

Standing just a few seats away from Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and former President Donald Trump, Gaffigan drew uproarious laughs as he ridiculed Harris for making time for other platforms — including the sex-based focused podcast ‘Call Her Daddy’.

“I mean, think of this: This is a room full of Catholics and Jews in New York City. This is a layup for the Democratic candidate,” Gaffigan said.

“In her defense, I mean she has found time to appear on The View, Howard Stern, Colbert and the campaign’s longtime staple, the Call Her Daddy podcast,” he continued. ‘You know what I think it is? I think she doesn’t like me. Chuck, do I have bad breath?’

At one point, the “Saturday Night Live” gagster also joked about Democrats’ choice to replace President Biden with Harris because they are so afraid of a Trump victory.

“The Democrats tell us that Trump’s re-election is a threat to democracy. In fact, they were so concerned about this threat that they staged a coup, deposed their democratically elected incumbent, and installed Kamala Harris,” Gaffigan said.

“In other words, all her dreams came true. It really makes me think about the power of prayer, right Cardinal? Sometimes prayers last three and a half years and a George Clooney op-ed comes out.”
