Cowboys’ 99-yard TD Hero challenges Tyreek Hill with ‘fastest on planet’ entry

Some people’s egos operate on a completely different level. It gets hurt faster than lightning, and once it does, they’ll do whatever they can to fix it. Remember when 2024 Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles called out leagues like the NBA and NFL? Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill got so offended that he challenged the fastest man in the world to race him. And he was so sure he could beat him. Classic ego move! Tyreek is certainly one of the fastest in the NFL, but he just should have slowed down here.

Now there’s someone else getting on Hill’s nerves. And this time it’s someone from his sport, Cowboys WR KaVontae Turpin. The Cowboys had everyone talking after their recent win against the Commanders. Every time you bet against them, they make sure you lose. In the Cowboys’ 34-26 victory, Turpin was the game-changer. The Louisiana native ran 99 yards for a touchdown on the kickoff, and it had everyone’s jaws on the floor. And what does Turpin think about that? Well, he said, “I’ve always said I’ve always been the fastest person on the planet. That’s how I feel.” It looks like Tyreek has another competitor to race against.

Turpin hit a top speed of 34.35 miles per hour on his 99-yard touchdown return. After the win, the Cowboys WR said people thought he was just blabbering when he said he was the fastest man in the NFL. I think we all owe him an apology for underestimating him.

Former Kansas City star Tyreek Hill held the title of fastest in the NFL for a while. That’s why he didn’t hesitate to say he would beat Noah Lyles, the six-time world sprint champion. But you know, even the greatest kings have to leave the throne when the time comes. It looks like KaVontae Turpin is more than ready to take on the ‘fastest in the NFL’ throne. Tyreek Hill may not be happy about that, but he should feel relieved after the recent dismissal of charges against him.

Good news for Tyreek Hill

When Tyreek Hill says he’s the fastest man, he means it. He ensures that he is the fastest both on and off the field. But that didn’t sit well with him a few months ago when he was speeding in his luxury car. In September, the Dolphins played a game against the Jaguars at their home base, Hard Rock Stadium. Hill was driving to the stadium for the game when police stopped him for a traffic stop and removed him from his car. The Dolphins WR was eventually handcuffed and charged with speeding and not wearing a seat belt.

A police bodycam video of the incident went viral shortly afterwards. In the video, you can see police handcuffing him after pushing him to the ground. The whole thing divided people online. Even though Hill played against the Jaguars that night and led the Dolphins to a 20-17 win, he still received a lot of backlash from netizens. The Dolphins WR were scheduled to appear in court today for the case.

After that, the officers who caught him didn’t show up at court today. As a result, the charges against him are dropped. That must be a relief for him. The Dolphins star now has time to focus on the upcoming game against the Packers.
