Dancing with the stars Pro—and husband of WWE’s Niki Garia—Artem Chigvintsev has been arrested on domestic violence charges.

TMZ was first to report that Chigvintsev was jailed in Napa County, California, on Thursday morning.

Few details are known at this time, but the outlet reports that “injuries are reported to have occurred” and the victim requests “complete confidentiality.” Page Six reports that documents show his bail has been set at $25,000.

Garcia, who appears to be in Napa via her Instagram Story, has yet to comment on her husband’s arrest. But just three days ago, the wrestler sang her husband’s praises in an Instagram post celebrating their third anniversary.

“I’ll never forget where I was when I asked Jesus about Artem. A conversation with Him and God. How my feelings felt too fast. It all felt too fast. And then this song came. And that’s when I knew I was falling in love with him and it was all meant to be,” Garcia wrote of the Elvis Presley song “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” She included footage of their wedding ceremony in the caption.

Likewise, Chigvintsev declared his love on their anniversary via his own Instagram post. “Happy birthday my love, I can’t see my life without you. You are my everything,” he captioned a wedding photo.

According to Peoplethe couple first met when they were partners on DWTS’s 25th season in 2017. They began dating in early 2019 and the dance pro popped the question in November. Garcia fell pregnant shortly after and the couple welcomed their son, Matteo, in July 2020. They tied the knot in Paris in 2022.

After the news broke, a source at Page Six confirmed that Chigvintsev would not appear on the upcoming season of the competition show.
