Dave Grohl’s daughter is taking a step back from social media.

Violet, 18, appears to have deactivated her Instagram account after it was revealed that her father, 55, fathered a fourth daughter out of wedlock.

On Tuesday, the rocker announced on Instagram that he recently had a child with a woman outside of his marriage to his wife Jordyn Blum, whom he married in 2003.

As of Tuesday afternoon, Violet’s Instagram account was still deactivated. However, it is unclear when she first closed the page.

Grohl has two daughters with Violet: Ophelia, 10, and Harper, 15. He is married to Blum, 48, to whom he has been married for 21 years.

“I recently became the father of a baby girl, born out of wedlock,” Grohl said in his statement.

“I intend to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am committed to doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he continued. “We are grateful for your consideration for all of the children involved as we move forward together.”

A spokesperson for Grohl told The Post there was no further comment from the musician at this time.

During Glastonbury Festival in June 2023, the Foo Fighters singer brought his eldest child onstage to perform a song from his band’s latest album, “But Here We Are.”

“My favorite singer in the world,” Grohl said as Violet stood next to him. “This is a song I wrote for my mom, Violet’s grandmother. This is ‘Show Me How.'”

As the father-daughter duo finished the song, the artist shouted, “That’s my girl!”

“I love it when you’re on stage with your daughter and you sing a wrong note,” he joked to the audience, which erupted in applause.

The former drummer and Blum were married on August 2, 2003, in a ceremony at the couple’s Los Angeles home. The guest list included Clive Davis and Grohl’s former Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic.

The marriage was Blum’s first and Grohl’s second. The artist had been married to photographer Jennifer Youngblood. They divorced in 1997.

The couple hasn’t really been in the spotlight that much as a family, but they were seen together at the 2023 Grammy Awards and posed together on the red carpet.

Blum, a former model and MTV producer, has remained silent about her marriage for years, but Grohl has occasionally opened up about their love.

“Jordyn and Violet are anchors that keep me from completely disappearing,” he told The Guardian in 2007.

The icon also reflected on the changes in his career choices after having children.

“I used to tour nine months a year. Now I don’t like being away from my kids for more than 12 days,” he told TIME in 2010.

“It’s changed everything I do,” Grohl added. “When you have kids, you see life through different eyes. You feel love more deeply and maybe have a little more empathy. It’s inevitable that that will find its way into your songwriting.”

The news that the Foo Fighters frontman and Blum were expecting Violet was accidentally leaked by Grohl’s former bandmate, the late Taylor Hawkins.

“We’re going to tour Europe in January and February, but we have to be back home in March because Dave and his wife are having a baby,” Hawkins told MTV in 2006. “But I probably shouldn’t have told you that.”

Violet Maye, now one of Grohl’s four daughters, is named after the artist’s grandmother.
