    Welcome to the first NFL Sunday of the 2024 season.

    After two games earlier in the week, a slate of NFL games are scheduled for Sunday — including the regular-season debuts of several rookie quarterbacks. One of the big debuts is the Denver Broncos vs. Seattle Seahawks clash in Seattle, with No. 12 overall pick Bo Nix starting at quarterback for Denver.

    Nix isn’t the only one making a big debut on Sunday. Former Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald is also set for his first game as head coach, taking over for Pete Carroll in Seattle.

    Both teams enter 2024 hoping to overcome last season’s disappointing results, as they both finished third in their division and missed out on the play-offs.

The Broncos couldn’t stop the run last season, and that’s something Kenneth Walker is looking forward to. Seattle limits Denver in a convincing win.”

    Jess Root writes: “With a rookie QB in Nix, mistakes are going to be made, so I can’t predict the Broncos pulling out an outright win.”

    Bill Bender writes: “The Broncos had a +4 turnover margin last season, and if Nix can be efficient, an out upset is possible here. Geno Smith is more familiar with his supporting cast, though, and DK Metcalf and Kenneth Walker III will each score TDs in a new chapter of Seahawks football.”
