Black Friday usually marks the kick-off of the Christmas shopping season. But since the COVID-19 pandemic, holiday shopping is starting earlier and earlier.

You might be tempted to avoid the Black Friday crowds and do some shopping before Thanksgiving.

According to the National Retail Federation, the upcoming holiday shopping season could be busy, with consumer spending expected to exceed last year’s by 2.5% to 3.5%.

We at NorthJersey.com and The Record have put together some of the best Black Friday deals in North Jersey that start even before Thanksgiving and Black Friday. For reference, Black Friday falls on November 29 this year.

American Dream, East Rutherford

Stores in the country’s second largest shopping center are offering a slew of early deals starting next week on Black Friday.

Levi’s is offering a 40% discount on all purchases between November 21 and 24. Until December 2, jewelry store Pandora is offering a 30% discount on all products storewide. Furniture store DeRucci is offering 50% off select purchases through November 28.

Between November 21 and December 2, shoe store Clarks is offering 40% off selected purchases. Mac Cosmetics offers a 30% discount between November 24 and 30. Vans shoes are offering 25% off select winter styles through December 21st.

Bergen city center, Paramus

Buy one and get 50% off a second outwear piece at Dream Pairs until December 31st. Aldo is offering 25% off shoes and sales through November 26.

Garden State Plaza, Paramus

Pandora in the Garden State Plaza is offering 30% off all products storewide between November 16 and December 30. Fabletics sportswear offers a 60% discount on all products until November 27.

Rockaway Town Square, Rockaway

Aeropostale is offering a 50% to 70% discount until November 26. Candles from the Yankee Candle brand receive a 40% discount until November 21. Pandora offers a 30% discount.

The Short Hills Mall

Kate Spade New York is offering 50% off bags, jewelry, dresses and more through November 26. Chico’s is offering 25% off tops and sweaters through November 24.

The Shops in Riverside, Hackensack

Pandora is offering 30% off jewelry through December 3.

The e-commerce giant’s Black Friday deals run from Thursday, November 21 to Friday, November 29, followed by Cyber ​​Monday sales from Friday, November 29 to Monday, December 2.

Target started its “Deal of the Day” specials on November 1 and they will last every day through December 24, with deals like 30% off toys, 25% off holiday decorations and 40% off shoes.

During the holiday shopping season – November 7 to December 24 – Target’s Holiday Price Match Guarantee is in effect. That means if an item you purchased goes lower at Target later in the season, the retailer will adjust its price. Target will also match select competitors’ prices within 14 days of purchase.
