Does ‘Terrifier 3’ have a post-credits scene? Here you can read whether you should remain in your seat

The gruesome Art the Clown has returned just in time to ruin the party in the film’s third chapter More frightening franchise. If you go to the theaters, you might wonder if that’s true Scarer 3 has a post-credits scene teasing another film.

The slasher film series – written and directed by Damien Leone – continues the story by bringing back Sienna. After surviving Art the Clown’s Halloween massacre, Sienna and her brother try to rebuild their lives as Christmas approaches. “Just when they think they’re safe, however, Art returns, determined to turn their holiday spirit into another nightmare,” the official synopsis reads.

Leone told me Variety that one of the scenes he thinks people will talk about when they leave the film is the shower massacre, inspired by one of his favorite films of all time: the Alfred Hitchcock film Classic from 1960 Psycho.

“I said to myself, ‘If Alfred Hitchcock were to make this today, would he film it the same way? Would it be a bit more graphic?’ I said, ‘I know if I had the chance to make ‘Psycho’ today and I did that shower scene, I would show everything the knife can do,” he explained.

“So I said, ‘How can I make that scene my own? Let’s give him a chainsaw instead, because it’s crueler than a knife, and let’s make it two people instead of one person.”

Scarer 1 did not contain an end credits scene, but the second film did, and it played a key role in setting up the return of Vicky, Art’s henchman, in the third film. Read on to see if it’s worth staying in your seat as the credits roll.

4oDoes Scarer 3 Do you have a post-credit scene?

No, Scarer 3 has no post-credits scene. There are no mid-credits or end credits for a new storyline or sequel, which is surprising since the second film featured one. Without giving away any spoilers, director Damien Leone has chosen to end the film with a cliffhanger, which will lead directly into a fourth part.

Leon confirmed that Scarer 4 is already in development to continue the cult-favorite horror franchise.

“It will definitely be an epic showdown, an epic conclusion to this Art the Clown saga,” Leon said Variety. “The idea I’m playing with in my head would probably be the most experimental in some ways, so I can’t dive into it too much. Really crazy things will happen in the next film.”
