Trump also claimed he was not a Taylor Swift fan. “I actually like Mrs. Mahomes a lot better. She’s a big Trump fan,” he said, referring to Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Trump’s comments came after the American pop star expressed his support for Harris, the Democratic candidate, in an Instagram post on Tuesday evening.

“I am voting for Kamala Harris because she fights for rights and causes that I believe need a warrior to defend them,” she wrote.

Swift also condemned AI-generated images from last month that falsely showed her support for Trump, which were posted on the ex-president’s social media platform, Truth Social.

“It was recently brought to my attention that AI of ‘me’ that falsely endorsed Donald Trump’s presidential campaign had been posted on his site. It really raised my fears around AI and the dangers of spreading disinformation,” Swift wrote.

“It made me realize that I need to be very transparent about my real plans for this election as a voter. The easiest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.”

Swift has supported Democratic candidates in U.S. elections since becoming more open about her political leanings after years of obscurity early in her career. An Instagram post she made in 2020 imploring fans to register to vote on Vote.org led to a 1,226% increase in participation on the site in that hour, the CEO said.
