On the evening of September 17, a partial lunar eclipse will occur. The moon will take on a cloudy reddish-brown color as the Earth’s shadow falls on the lunar surface.

The partial lunar eclipse will be visible from most of North America, all of South America, Europe, Africa except the easternmost parts, western parts of Asia and Russia, and parts of Antarctica.
