Dry conditions and warmer than normal temperatures will continue this week

A dry and unseasonably warm week is in store for Greater Cincinnati.

A dry air mass will descend over the region on Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Expect sunny skies and highs in the mid-70s, about 10 to 13 degrees above normal.

Some thin clouds at high altitude can be expected Monday evening. Lows will be milder, ranging from the lower to upper 40s. Warm temperatures will continue Tuesday, with highs again in the mid 70s.

Temperatures will climb back into the mid to upper 70s on Wednesday. A cold front will pass through the area on Thursday and cause temporary cooling.

Temperatures will climb back into the 70s on Friday before another cold front moves through the region. Some rain may fall, but precipitation amounts will be limited.

There will be a subtle cooling over the weekend, but temperatures will remain mainly around seasonal norms.

Monday: Fog areas before 11am. Otherwise it will be sunny, with a high near 77 degrees. Light and variable wind.

Monday evening: Patchy fog after 4am. Otherwise it will be clear, with a low around 45. Weak southeast wind.

Tuesday: Areas with fog before 2 p.m. Otherwise, it will be sunny, with a high near 78. Calm winds becoming southwesterly at 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday evening: Mostly clear, with a low around 56. South wind around 6 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 79. Southwest wind 6 to 9 mph.

Wednesday evening: Mostly clear, with a low around 43.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 66.
