Jahan Dotson understands that the NFL is a business. When the Washington Commanders traded him to the Philadelphia Eagles this week, he knew it wasn’t personal.

The wide receiver said he won’t dwell on the deal too much, but he will take it personally when the Eagles play the Commanders this season.

“I talked to Coach Dan Quinn and Mr. Adam Peters and they said they feel really positive about me,” Dotson said. “It’s just something that happens, you know. These things happen all the time in the NFL. I’m not going to take it personally until I see Washington.”
