The Philadelphia Eagles are now 8-2 heading into their primetime matchup against the Los Angeles Rams Sunday night football.

The momentum is certainly on the Eagles’ side as they look to build on their six-game win streak. They are coming off two straight wins in the NFC East division and also had a bit of a mini-bye week after their Thursday night game. Head coach Nick Sirianni found ways to maximize their Week 5 bye earlier in the season, so hopefully they’ve been able to address some of the lingering weaknesses from the last ten days and can finish the season much stronger than they were in 2023.

In any case, there is no reason to doubt that this team will avoid many of the mistakes they made last year. This last stretch will be a challenge, but nothing they can’t handle if they continue to play the way they have on both sides of the ball. Even if the offense struggles a few minutes early, the Eagles defense should come out swinging. If they do that, they should be able to put together a complete performance against the Rams.
