Prime Day is here again: the biennial shopping event (this time known as Prime Big Deal Days) is coming up on October 8 and 9, and Amazon is already offering discounts on tons of products across all categories. One category you probably wouldn’t expect to see many offers from is books, but that’s exactly what we’re seeing on Amazon’s website right now. (Amazon did start as an online bookstore, so it kind of makes sense.)

We’ve found tons of book titles from a wide variety of genres currently on sale, from bestselling novels to nonfiction and children’s books. Kindle and e-book editions are up to 80% off their usual list prices, while hardcover and paperback books are discounted up to 50%.
