Friday is the last day to vote early ahead of Election Day next week.

This year’s ballot includes several notable races, including the hotly contested presidential race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.

A key Senate seat is also at stake in Texas, with Democratic candidate U.S. Rep. Colin Allred of Dallas challenging Republican incumbent U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz.

Voters will also weigh in on several major proposals, including Amarillo’s Prop A to become a sanctuary city for the unborn, Dallas’ proposal to decriminalize cannabis and school bond measures in districts like Frisco and Allen.

Here’s how to find your nearest polling station and make your voice heard:

Where can I vote early in Texas?

Registered voters can cast their vote early at any polling station in their province.

On the Texas Secretary of State’s VoteTexas.gov website, you can find early voting locations in the “In-Person Voting” section by clicking on “Where is My Polling Place” and then “My Voter Portal.” There you can enter your name, state, date of birth and zip code to find your registration information and the nearest polling place.

You can also contact your county clerk for early voting locations near you: sos.state.tx.us/elections/voter/county.shtml.

What should I bring to vote?

According to VoteTexas.Gov, the following is a list of acceptable forms of photo ID required to vote:

  • Texel driver’s license
  • Certificate of ID for Texas Elections
  • Texas personal identification card
  • Texas Pistol License
  • Certificate of US Citizenship with photo
  • US military ID card
  • American passport

Those who are unable to produce one of the above-mentioned forms of identification can complete a declaration of reasonable impediment at the ballot box and present an alternative form of identification. This could be a utility bill, a bank statement, a check from the government or a voter registration certificate.
