    Eataly Italian Market, with stores from NYC to LA, plans debut in Florida

    Set to open in fall 2025, world-renowned Italian food hall Eataly is coming to CityPlace in downtown West Palm Beach.

    Featuring a wide variety of imported Italian goods, quick service counters and more, Eataly will join the shopping and dining destination in about a year and will be virtually central to the complex in the Harriet Himmel Building.

    Built in 1926 and originally a church, the historic building in the heart of CityPlace is currently being renovated in preparation for Eataly’s arrival.

    “The historic Harriet Himmel Building is an ideal location for Eataly’s Italian market and restaurant concept, which will honor the rich heritage of CityPlace’s long-standing community center while introducing a new gastronomic destination not to be missed, both for the locals as well as for visitors.” says Gopal Rajegowda, executive vice president of Related Ross.

    Started in 2002, Eataly’s core concept from the beginning was to collect under one roof high quality food at sustainable and reasonable prices for all, celebrating Italian biodiversity and creating an informal, natural and simple place to eat , shopping and learning.

    “We are incredibly excited to enter the South Florida market and look forward to bringing the Italian art of living to the West Palm Beach community at CityPlace,” said Tommaso Brusò, CEO of Eataly North America. “As a true lifestyle destination with an impressive mix of retail, art, design and gastronomy, CityPlace could not have been a better match for our new flagship store.”

    A symbol of Italian culinary art, Eataly offers products such as caviar, wine, truffles, pasta, olive oil, sweet treats and more. It also offers cooking classes that teach guests how to make fresh pasta, pizza, cannoli, biscotti and more, along with wine pairing and tasting classes.

    There are currently more than 50 Eataly locations around the world with locations in London, Paris, Munich, Stockholm, San Paolo, Japan, Korea and Istanbul.

    In the United States, there are Eataly stores in Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, San Jose and three in New York City.

    In addition to CityPlace in West Palm Beach, Eataly is opening another store in South Florida in Aventura. This location is expected to open in spring 2025.
