EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – One of the winners of Elon Musk’s $1 million voter lottery is from Eau Claire.

A post on ‘X’ Thursday evening shows a large check made out to Brian Bauer of Musk’s America PAC.

The post states that Brian from Eau Claire Wisconsin received $1 million for signing the petition in support of the Constitution.

Musk, who has endorsed Donald Trump, announced last weekend that the PAC would give $1 million to one voter every day until November 5, 2024, if they sign the petition.

The Justice Department warned Musk this week that the giveaway may be illegal.

The PAC did not announce a winner of the day on Wednesday, but resumed the competition on Thursday evening.
