Fantasy football season is here, and with it comes a whirlwind of injuries, holdouts, trades, depth chart battles, and preseason performances. The constant stream of news coming out of training camp can be overwhelming, leaving even the most dedicated fantasy managers feeling uncertain about their draft strategies.

In this article, we’re going to simplify things for you. We’re going to go through every player drafted in the Top 120 picks in our updated Consensus Average Draft Position (ADP) round by round. You’ll get the latest updates and insights you need to make informed decisions when it’s your turn this weekend.

But that’s not all: We also highlight the news you need to know about 20 late-round players whose fantasy stocks are rising or falling based on recent developments.

round 1 fantasy design

  • You can’t really go wrong with any of the current first-rounders. With the possible exception of Ja’Marr Chase, they’re all healthy and ready to go for Week 1.
  • Garrett Wilson is a priority target in the back quarter of the first round. He has WR1 overall upside this season.

round 2 fantasy design

  • Don’t ignore the latest buzz out of Los Angeles. There’s solid reporting suggesting the backfield will be more of a committee than those who drafted Williams in the second round would hope. He’s off my board until late Round 3.
  • Tank Bigsby had a surprisingly strong training camp and could somewhat limit Travis Etienne’s upside.
  • Samaje Perine is a solid pass-catching veteran who could hurt Isiah Pacheco’s receiving upside. That said, he’s not exactly the most daunting competitor. If Pacheco’s stock does drop, it’s only a little.

round 3 fantasy design

  • Brandon Aiyuk has finally signed. His return to San Francisco is a negative for Deebo Samuel, who should now likely be closer to the end of Round 3.
  • Josh Jacobs is the best running back to target in the third round. I would choose Jacobs over three running backs drafted in round 2 (Williams, Etienne, and Pacheco).

round 4 fantasy draft

  • If there’s one player I want to leave every draft with right now, it’s Malik Nabers. He should go in round 2. You can usually get him if you’re willing to take him in round 3.
  • The Seahawks offense feels like a sly gamble for a big breakout. There’s a new scheme in place and young talents like Kenneth Walker and Jaxon Smith-Njigba are emerging. It’s worth targeting the Seahawks’ best weapons at or above ADP.

round 5 fantasy design

  • Round 5 is where you get to choose between a top tight end or a high-end WR2. The round is loaded with excellent options at both positions.

round 6 fantasy design

  • Rashee Rice still has a consensus ADP of the sixth round. However, he has consistently gone in the fourth round in most recent drafts. It is not uncommon to see him in round 3. I would rather take a chance on Xavier Worthy a round later.
  • Calvin Ridley looks poised for a big season. Expect the Titans to build their offense around the player they just signed for over $20M per year.

round 7 fantasy design

  • Antonio Pierce’s recent comments indicate that he expects Zamir White to operate in a true workhorse role. The volume should be there, and White succeeded last season behind a similarly mediocre offensive line.
  • Round 7 is a great place to take a chance on a high-upside rookie wide receiver. This class is special, and the expectation is that multiple rookie wideouts will develop into instant-impact fantasy performers.

round 8 fantasy design

  • It’s interesting to see a second-year wide receiver with a first-round pedigree who’s just coming off a 10-touchdown rookie season fall so far into the draft. And yet here we are with Jordan Addison. The Vikings have been a Top 5 passing offense, and Addison is the clear second option behind only Justin Jefferson. He’s falling through the cracks while everyone else is looking for the next big thing.

round 9 fantasy design

  • Let’s dig a little deeper into the Bengals running backs, since my opinion is hard to summarize in a short text. The baseline expectation should be a 50-50 split between Chase Brown and Zack Moss. Think Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren in Pittsburgh. However, there are enough hints in interviews with players and coaches that they are at least open to the possibility of Brown taking the job and running with it. He’s been called “the upside guy,” and Brown is the player the Bengals offensive linemen loudly tell people to draft in their fantasy leagues.

round 10 fantasy design

  • Jerome Ford didn’t get as much of an ADP boost as he should have, based on recent news. Nick Chubb is on the PUP list and we still don’t have a set timeline for when we can expect him back. Additionally, D’Onta Foreman was never really a serious contender for playing time and was eventually cut, leaving just Ford and Pierre Strong on the list.
