Fabio Wardley vs Frazer Clarke II & Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol – who will win? Expert predictions for the box office bill | Boxing News

Experts, fighters and champions can have their say ahead of the rematch between Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke and Artur Beterbiev against Dmitry Bivol on a huge night of boxing. Sky Sports box office.

Fabio Wardley vs Frazer Clarke II – who wins?

Natasha Jonas (two-weight world champion):

I don’t think it can be as good as the first because the first fight was the best fight I saw live. And I’ve seen a lot of fights, that’s a big statement. I think Frazer wins. After the last one, I don’t think anyone is going to knock anyone out, other than a points win.

Jai Opetaia (IBF Cruiserweight World Champion):

I lean a little more towards Fabio. I think he has a little more skill. But Frazer Clarke, he’s a big boy, a big puncher, so he still has to fight smart, you can’t feel comfortable there.

Frazer Clarke looks back on his dramatic first fight with Fabio Wardley and promises it will be a different story in the rematch

Skye Nicolson (WBC Featherweight World Champion):

I think Wardley is just a tip for me. I think it’s a great fight. It’s one of those 50-50 fights that can really go either way, as the first fight showed. Honestly, it could be the same again.

Jack Massey (European Cruiserweight Champion):

Another tricky one. I think Wardley is going to make a mistake if he tries to do the same fight as the last one and try to drag him into a dogfight.

I think Frazer is a little smarter than that. I think he looked at that last fight and thought, ‘I’m not going to get in trouble.’ I think he will be smarter and try to box a little more. I walk towards Frazer.

Dalton Smith (undefeated British champion):

I think Frazer will get through this. I let him win the first fight. What a great fight for the fans to watch.

I just think Frazer will have learned more from that fight, even though I thought he would have won by one or two rounds in the first round.

Heavyweight rivals Frazer Clarke and Fabio Wardley drew portraits of each other and were certainly not very complimentary!

Raven Chapman (world title challenger):

It will be interesting. I’d probably send it to Frazer this time. I feel like Frazer wasn’t at his best in the first fight. Obviously I’ve been to GB and seen Frazer work and I know what he’s capable of. I think he had another gear he could have gone to that night.

Liam Cameron (former Commonwealth Champion):

I remember watching that fight and thinking, ‘Wow, that looks awful.’ Those in the locker rooms must be upset knowing that they are going into that battle again! To draw.

Joe Gallagher (top trainer):

It was a great fight, the first fight. I think Wardley won it, but it was very, very tight. I think Wardley (will win this one). I think Wardley will have taken a huge amount of confidence from that fight.

Frazer wants to prove his point, Fabio has gained confidence in the fight. They both had each other in trouble at times.

Both fighters must have learned how to finish a fight in this camp, can Fabio Wardley this time?

Fabio Wardley isn’t worried about his old nose injury and says it won’t impact his big rematch with Frazer Clarke

Spencer Oliver (former European champion):

I think Frazer Clarke’s little tweaks might be enough. That better boxing ability might just win him over. I believe they will go toe to toe again. We might even get the draw.

They will fight to the end. Round 12 they stand there in the middle of the ring, bumping toe to toe.

Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol – who wins?

Natasha Jonas (two-weight world champion):

I’m swinging on this one. Beterbiev, does he have the IQ to outsmart Bivol? Then I think of Bivol. He always looks like he has two or three gears to go, but he never gets in. So if it’s necessary, can you do it? Because he will have to make Beterbiev respect him. He will have to keep Beterbiev out for twelve rounds.

I’m going with Beterbiev.

Ahead of his undisputed light-heavyweight fight with Dmitry Bivol, Artur Beterbiev explains his most extreme workouts

Jai Opetaia (IBF Cruiserweight World Champion):

It’s a great chess match this fight. It’s a perfect walk-forward fighter versus a perfect long-range footwork fighter. I’m actually very interested to see this fight. I’m leaning a little bit towards Bivol because I’m more boxing, cutting corners, I like that boxing more than that kind of front foot style, but it won’t be an easy fight.

The loser will be the one who makes the most mistakes. I believe they both have the tools to beat each other, but whoever makes the most mistakes or makes the second wrong mistake will pay the price. Because these are the best fighters, if you make a mistake, you have to face the consequences.

Skye Nicolson (WBC Featherweight World Champion):

To me that’s classic brawler versus boxer. I support the boxer, so for me it’s Bivol. If anyone can upset the apple cart on what Bivol’s incredible boxing mind is and what he does, it’s Beterbiev. But for me, I see Bivol winning.

Jack Massey (European Cruiserweight Champion):

At Beterbiev you just have to hold on and move. Box and move, box and move, don’t let him track you down.

I’m heading towards Bivol. I believe he can outbox him. We’ll see. I think it’s a great fight.

Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev engaged in a fierce clash this weekend ahead of their undisputed light-heavyweight clash

Dalton Smith (undefeated British champion):

I support Beterbiev. I’ve changed my mind a few times. During the last few performances, against that opposition, I support Beterbiev.

The fight with Callum Smith changed it for me. I thought Callum was in there with a great chance to knock out Beterbiev. You could see the size of him, the strength and that changed it for me.

Raven Chapman (world title challenger):

It’s certainly one of the best fights you can make in boxing. For me, I have Beterbiev just on the edge, but it’s a tough one. It could be a boxing lesson from Bivol, or a real war between two very tough guys.

Liam Cameron (former Commonwealth Champion):

Beterbiev discontinuation. I just don’t think Bivol can keep him off. He could win all the rounds with Beterbiev, but he just keeps coming. Unless he twists his knee. You just never know.

Artur Beterbiev showed off his wrists of steel during a very unique warm-up in Riyadh

Joe Gallagher (top trainer):

Now that it’s getting closer, I’m going to Bivol, only because Beterbiev is 39. He hasn’t been active all his career, he’s had long breaks. Bivol has been on the big stage, the big stage, we’re talking about the Canelo stage, and he’s acquitted himself very well and shown what he can do.

Beterbiev has a lot more power, a lot more movement (than Canelo), but I just think this is a fight where father time may have caught up with Beterbiev. You can’t rule him out… I just changed my mind and went to Beterbiev.

Spencer Oliver (former European champion):

I’m leaning towards Beterbiev. I think he wins the fight. I think he’ll just tear the place down. Bivol is lighter on his feet and his work rate is good. But the power that Beterbiev has is bizarre and we will discover that on Saturday.
