Despite showing strong support for her husband, the former First Lady’s outing has sparked new controversy, with social media users speculating that there may have been a “body double.” The reason behind these theories stems from Melania’s refusal to take off her sunglasses indoors, further fueling the rumors.

Melania Trump stepped out in a polka dot floor-length dress, paired with black heels and oversized sunglasses, as she joined her husband, Donald Trump, to cast their votes. Despite smiling for the cameras, her appearance raised suspicions among some observers. The former First Lady’s refusal to answer media questions, coupled with her eye-catching outfit, quickly led to her trending on social media, with many speculating about her presence.

One user compared the former model’s Election Day video to another old photo, writing, “Are the sunglasses Melania wearing today the real Melania or fake Melania aka Margo Martin, Trump’s press person?”

Another added: “Convicted felons voting… illegal. Wearing a MAGA hat while voting… illegal. Melania voting for her twice is illegal.”

Notably, this isn’t the first time the former First Lady has faced dual conspiracy theories. In recent years, many have clung to the belief that Melania uses a body double for her public appearances, claiming that she is either “dead” or has decided to stay out of the public eye. She also remained largely absent from Trump’s appearance. campaigning, with the exception of the Republican National Convention and the MSG event.

As the “fake” theories continued to gain traction, Melania Trump’s social media handles were updated with posts confirming her vote. She also shared a photo of Barron Trump, the couple’s son. ‘Voted for the first time – for his father!’ she wrote.
