MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Federal authorities responded to a pastor’s home in Myrtle Beach in an investigation that gained national attention.

FBI spokesman Kevin Wheeler confirmed to WMBF News that they are conducting an authorized search of John-Paul Miller’s home on Coldwater Circle. No further information was provided.

WMBF news reporters Ale Espinosa and Ashley Boles were both on scene and saw FBI agents at the home.

Earlier this year, authorities ruled that Miller’s wife, Mica, had committed suicide in Robeson County, North Carolina.

John-Paul Miller is pastor of Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach.
