RENO, Nevada (KOLO) – Update at 2:58 PM: More details about a building fire near the Spaghetti Bowl on Montello Street in Reno.

Reno firefighters responded to a fire in a 20-by-20-foot shed at the rear of the building. No other structures were involved.

The fire brigade was able to extinguish the fire quickly.

One firefighter was taken to hospital for evaluation for heat exhaustion.

There were two similar fires in the area. Investigators are trying to determine if they are related.

The fire broke out Friday afternoon near 6th Street, near the Spaghetti Bowl.

According to the Reno Fire Department, the fire started in a building where no one was present.

The fire had already stopped spreading and had also spread to the nearby grassy field.

The cause is being investigated.
