We give you the First warning that Thursday morning will likely be the coldest morning of the week. Lows will fall into the 20s and 30s. Be aware of frost/freeze warnings from the National Weather Service.

Autumn color update 10/12(WDBJ7 weather)

We’re now in the middle of October, which means peak fall is approaching! The Greenbrier and areas west of the Blue Ridge will experience moderate to high coverage of fall colors this weekend.

Elsewhere, subtle color accents are slowly arriving. The fall peak will likely occur in the next 1-2 weeks. Now that Virginia’s Blue Ridge Parkway is open again, get outside and browse the leaves!
