Four shots fired in downtown Reno; police are still looking for suspect

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – 11.00 UPDATE: A suspect is still being sought after he shot four people in downtown Reno early Saturday, Reno police said Saturday morning.

All four people were taken to hospital. Police have not disclosed the circumstances or whether any deaths occurred.

The shooting happened just after midnight on South Virginia Street, just south of St. Lawrence Avenue. Police called the shooting an isolated incident and said there is no threat to the public.

People are asked to avoid the area of ​​South Virginia Street, from California Avenue to Cheney Street, as the investigation continues.
