Fox News host Bret Baier has been criticized for his attempts to talk about Kamala Harris during his interview with the presidential candidate on the conservative network.

The interview, which lasted 27 minutes, included several heated exchanges between the Democratic candidate and Baier, who has worked for Fox since 1998.

The pair often talked over each other, and Harris was much more animated than in other recent appearances as part of her media blitz.

Harris and Baier started the conversation with a tough discussion about immigration. The vice president then concluded by asking Baier to focus the interview on a “full review of the facts.”

It was Harris’ first appearance on Fox and many have reached out to Baier for his treatment of the vice president during the interview, while complimenting Harris on the way she handled the situation.

Community And Inside out 2 actor Yvette Nicole Brown asked Baier on X/Twitter: “Would you have interrupted another @VP of our country the way you rudely interrupted and tried to talk through @KamalaHarris? I ask every woman in America.”

American businessman and TV personality Mark Cuban was full of praise for Harris and her performance. The 66-year-old wrote: “The great thing about the @BretBaier interview is that @KamalaHarris understood and answered every question. She used examples of policies. She provided real world context. When Brett went after her hard. She didn’t call him any names. She didn’t stop the interview. She didn’t make things up. She never complained that the questions were difficult. She never played the victim card. She did not lose her patience. She didn’t take the bait of downplaying or putting down Trump supporters. She stood up to him with force and never backed down.”

The author of If God is love, don’t be a jerk, John Pavlovitz added: “Bret Baier is trying to talk over Kamala Harris in hopes of changing over and over so she can’t express her point of view. She cuts through his bull***. She is the leader we all deserve.”

Baier had previously hit back at accusations from Trump supporters that the Harris interview was edited to make her appear more favorable.
