GRAHAM AND GREENLEE COUNTIES – The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for the Gila River Valley, including Safford and Clifton. The warning applies from early Thursday morning, November 7, at 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from Thursday evening from 10 p.m. to Friday morning at 9 a.m.

The freeze warning indicates that temperatures could drop to 28 degrees. Frost can damage crops and other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage outdoor pipes. Take precautions now to protect outdoor plants, animals and pipes.
