Frontrunner for a spot in the Trump administration has ties to Harrisburg

President-elect Donald Trump has been firing off nominations for positions in his new administration, and multiple reports say one yet to be made could have a significant tie to Harrisburg.

Alina Habba, a lawyer who has represented Trump, is reportedly one of the frontrunners to become the next White House press secretary.

Habba, 40, a native of New Jersey, graduated from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg in 2010.

Habba was asked during an appearance on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show on Tuesday whether she would take the job.

“Sean, you know me better than that,” she said to Hannity, smiling. “You’d never have me on prime time if I answered questions like that.”

When Hannity asked her about it again later in the interview, Habba responded, “I am very loyal to President Trump. I would think about it. Very seriously.”

Habba began working for Trump in 2021 and is a senior advisor for MAGA, Inc.
