Fumble by Vikings’ Sam Darnold leads to Kenny Moore II TD for Colts

MINNEAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts fell into administration after a big game on “Sunday Night Football.”

Colts nose tackle Grover Stewart threw himself over Minnesota Vikings center Garrett Bradbury on a first-and-10 play, then decked quarterback Sam Darnold, who fumbled.

Colts cornerback Kenny Moore II took over from there, picking up the loose ball and rushing 38 yards untouched into the end zone for the first score of the game with 10:56 left in the second quarter.

The Colts’ score initially looked in doubt after a flag was thrown on the play following Stewart’s contact with Darnold’s helmet. But the crew on duty eventually waved the flag and the call stood.
