‘Golden Bachelorette’ Joan Vassos gets engaged with a 4-carat diamond ring

“Golden Bachelorette” star Joan Vassos got engaged to contestant Chock Chapple with a stunning 4-carat ring during Wednesday night’s season finale.

Chapple followed franchise tradition by proposing a custom diamond ring from Neil Lane Couture, People reports.

“To celebrate their shared future, I knew exactly the ring design that would perfectly symbolize Joan and Chock’s undeniable connection,” the famed jewelry designer shared ahead of the grand finale.

“The breathtaking beauty of this ring perfectly reflects Joan’s journey as the first-ever Golden Bachelorette and I wish her and Chock nothing but the best as they enter the next phase of their relationship together.”

The platinum ring from Vassos features a handmade emerald cut diamond set with two tapered diamond baguettes, which are lined with 56 round brilliant cut diamonds.

Lane told People that he wanted to design something “classic” for Vassos, 61, and he was inspired by her “sophistication,” “elegance” and “integrity,” as well as the Art Deco era of the 1920s.

According to the celebrity jeweler, Chapple, 60, fell in love with the ring as soon as he saw it.

The platinum ring also features 56 round brilliant cut diamonds, per outlet.

“It was just one of those things that was kismet,” Lane recalled. “I think he understood the vibrations and the energy that went into that ring.”

Chapple got down on one knee during Wednesday’s finale and proposed to Vassos on the beach, expressing his love for her and his excitement about their future.

“From our first date at Disneyland, I thought I saw a future with you,” Vassos told People. “And it’s the first time in a long time that I’ve imagined a future with someone else.”

She added, “We are living proof that no matter what life throws at you, there is still hope, even at our age.”

The school principal also told Chapple that she loved him for the first time.

Vassos — who competed on Gerry Turner’s season of “The Golden Bachelor” last year — and Chapple had an undeniable bond from the start, and he was her first one-on-one date.

When it came time for fantasy suites, Chapple told host Jesse Palmer that he was in love with Vassos and knew she was the one for him.

He explained: “It’s either going to be an engagement or I’m going to have my heart broken.”

Season 1 of “The Golden Bachelorette” is now available to stream on Hulu.
