Good and bad news about season 4 of ‘FROM’ on MGM+

I have good news and bad news BY fans. First the good news: We’re getting another season of MGM’s popular but super underrated series this Sunday at the end of Season 3, something we’ll all be craving.

BY, of which I have mentioned the spiritual successor Lost, is a series about a group of people trapped in a mysterious and nameless town (I’ll call Fromville), terrorized by hideous monsters and confused by impossible mysteries. It’s one of my favorite shows on TV right now, and while I’m not surprised by the renewal (it’s the most-watched show on MGM+), I’m certainly relieved. You never know when a studio will inexplicably cancel a series these days.

The bad news is a bit disappointing. Production on the new ten-episode season will begin in 2025 and the first episode won’t be released until 2026. That means the wait will be well over a year, but whether it’s a year and a few months, or a full two years, remains to be seen. be seen.

Read my review of the latest FROM episode here:

The series stars Lost alum Harold Perrineau as the town’s sheriff, Boyd, as well as a talented cast of actors including Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Corteon Moore, Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders , Avery Konrad, Scott McCord, Nathan D. Simmons, Kaelen Ohm, Angela Moore, AJ Simmons, Deborah Grover, Robert Joy and Samantha Brown.

While the show can get bogged down in slower “filler” episodes, it’s still a gripping watch overall. It’s often scary, there are tons of mysteries to theorize about, and from what I’ve heard they have the whole thing worked out in advance so we don’t have to worry about this show being like this Lost in the worst ways. Season 3 is already bringing us closer to some very big answers.

In a press release, showrunner Jeff Pinkner said: “We are thrilled with the support of our fans and our partners at MGM+ and are so excited to share the next chapter of our story with our FROMily. By the end of Season 3, our characters will begin to understand why they’re trapped in FROM Town… but will this understanding help them escape? And if so, how?”

The series was created by John Griffin and the majority of the episodes were directed by Jack Bender Lost And Game of Thrones fame. You can watch the series on MGM+ via Amazon Prime Video. I highly recommend it.
