Kamala Harris to Charlamagne tha God on the importance of voter participation: “You can’t let anyone take you out of the game by not voting. The solutions won’t just happen overnight… the things we want and are willing to fight for won’t happen if we don’t act and participate.”

Harris says Trump is about fear: “He is working full-time on a campaign that is about fear-mongering, not hope. Look what he did and said those legal immigrants in Springfield, Ohio were eating their pets.”

Charlamagne asks why Harris allows him to call her the Border Czar when that wasn’t her role.

Harris: “If I responded to every name he called me, I wouldn’t be focusing on the things that actually help the American people. And that is my focus.”

A caller at Kamala Harris’ audio town hall asked the vice president about her position on reparations.

Harris responded: “It needs to be studied. There’s no doubt about that. I have been very clear about that position.”

She then focused on her plans for homeownership, small businesses, health care and home care, which she believes will especially impact the Black community.

In her audio town hall with Charlamagne tha God, Vice President Kamala Harris agreed with the radio host when he characterized Donald Trump’s vision of America as “fascism.”

“You have two choices…They are two very different visions for our nation. Mine is about moving us forward and making progress and investing in the American people, investing in their ambitions, dealing with their challenges. And Donald Trump’s other statements are setting us back.”

Charlamagne added that the other is about fascism: “Why can’t we just say that?”

Harris: “Yes, we can say that.”

When asked about Trump’s plans for the black community, Harris said: “Ask Donald Trump what his plan is for black America. Ask him. I’ll tell you what it is. Look at Project 2025. Project 2025 tells you that the plan includes requiring police forces to implement a stop-and-frisk policy.”

Asked about her reputation for sticking to her talking points, Kamala Harris says, “That would be called discipline.” She notes that some things need to be repeated because they are important.

About being imitated Saturday evening live Harris says, “Hasn’t Maya Rudolph been great? I have nothing but admiration for the comedy and I think it is important to be able to laugh at yourself and each other in the spirit of comedy.”

On the state of the race: “This is a race with a margin of error. I’m going to win, but it’s tight.”

Harris blasts Trump for sending Covid-19 testing equipment to Vladimir Putin during the height of the pandemic.

Charlamagne tha God replies: “That doesn’t sound like America first.”

Donald Trump doesn’t seem happy that Ian Sams, spokesperson for Kamala Harris, criticizes the former president and his campaign “all the time” on Fox News.
