Here is the upcoming release date of ‘Arcane’ Season 2 Part 2 on Netflix

After an endless wait of three years, Arcane is back on Netflix. But you’ll no doubt quickly skim through the three released episodes and wonder where the rest are.

Well, Arcane and Netflix are once again following the very unique release schedule of a three weekend launch with three episodes each. It’s something that almost never happens on the service, and I’m still not entirely sure how Arcane got them to agree to this, but hey, they’re doing it again. That means no months of waiting between parts as we see with other shows, but just a week:

  • Arcane season 2 part 1 – November 9
  • Arcane season 2 part 2 – November 16
  • Arcane season 2 part 3 – November 23

Three episodes each, bringing the total to nine, and yes, this is the final season and you don’t have to wait until 2027 for it to continue. Co-creator Christian Linke has previously spoken about why they’re calling it quits after just two seasons:

“We always had a specific story in mind. Look, you could have stretched it, I’m sure. But for us, it was always like we started with this in mind. I think as a creative person there is also a personal angle to it. We’ve all seen the TV shows where the writers are clearly running out of juice. How inspired can you stay the same, and for how long? It’s been nine years for us, with these characters. I think there is also a responsibility aspect to this: where we are now, this is what we had in mind.

I can certainly understand that, and from the sounds of it, season 2 is just as good as season 1, so you’ll want to make the most of it. Arcane season 2 currently has an audience score of 95%. There aren’t enough scored reviews for a critical score yet, but they’re all positive so far and it could aim for another perfect 100% like Season 1.

It’s going to be difficult to judge the season until all nine episodes are out, and therefore scores may fluctuate from here. But it seems clear that the three-year period was worth the wait. And I’m honestly a little relieved that the story can just end and we don’t have to wait another three years for more. We Are would supposedly get other stories in the League of Legends universe as shows, but this one specifically will end. There are only 100+ other non-recommended champions to go…
