The wait is almost over (and no, we’re not talking about Thanksgiving). We’re talking about the 33rd season finale of Dancing with the starsABC’s long-running competition show that somehow manages to get more nail-biting every year.

In tonight’s three-hour finale, the five remaining couples will each do two dances – a redemption round, which will be assigned by judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli; and a freestyle round where participants can (hopefully) show off their best moves.

The broadcast, hosted by Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro, will also feature performances from the 2025 Dancing with the stars live touring group and see last season’s winners return.

What can we expect from the Dancing with the stars season 33 finale?

This year’s final will include many segments in addition to the main competition.

During a redemption round, all five couples get a second chance at a performance they botched earlier in the season; Maher and Bersten will rev up their jive with Ray Charles & the Blues Brothers’ “Shake A Tail Feather,” while Graziadei and Johnson will once again bust out their cha-cha with “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” by Justin Timberlake.

There will also be a freestyle round where the finalists will improvise on songs like Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” and a Barbie mash-up of Lizzo’s ‘Pink’ and Ryan Gosling’s ‘I’m Just Ken’.

Mark Ballas and Derek Hough will perform a rendition of Tango Bardo’s Libertango, while members of the Dancing with the stars The 2025 live tour will feature a version of Troye Sivan’s ‘Rush’.

Notably, last season’s winners, Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy, return to the studio to perform a routine to Chappell Roan’s ‘Pink Pony Club’.
