A list of rumored salaries for the Bad movie cast has been floating around social media and has gone viral due to an alleged pay gap between the main stars.

It’s important to note that there is no confirmed source for these numbers and it’s unclear who originally shared them, but many people on TikTok and Twitter are commenting on the reports. One viral tweet has been viewed more than 8 million times at the time of this post, along with thousands of comments.

It has been claimed that Ariana Grande earned 15x the amount that Cynthia Erivo was paid, even though Elphaba is the lead and Glinda is a supporting role. The report even claimed as much Michelle Yeoh And Jeff Goldblum earned more than her.

While some defend the idea of Ariana earn much more than that Cynthia because she is a more established star and has pulling power, others rightly find it scandalous that the leads of a project like Bad wouldn’t make the same money.
