Hey Conservatives, Bashaw is fine

Hey conservatives, Curtis Bashaw is doing well.

That’s the message that came Wednesday night from the Morris County chapter of Moms for Liberty.

This is significant because Bashaw, by his own admission, does not fit into a box when it comes to conventional conservative beliefs. As he tells everyone in a TV ad, he is pro-choice and gay.

This has caused some problems with the more conservative, or MAGA wing, of the Republican Party.

Mike Crispi of the America First Republicans, for example, sharply criticized one of his debate performances.

With that in mind, Kristen Cobo, president of Moms for Liberty of Morris County, says she had a virtual conversation with Bashaw.

And apparently he passed the test. She said Bashaw agreed to sign the organization’s parent pledge.

Here is the release from Cobo:

There is a fundamental divide between families and ‘the system’. Parents often feel like they are up against a machine, unheard and frustrated. We are leading the effort to close that gap and create lasting impact

change.
During these unprecedented times, mothers and fathers have had to stand up and fight for the fundamental right to direct the education of our own children. A right that should be inherent in this beautiful and free nation
we are blessed to be alive. As parents on the front lines of this fight against government overreach, we must engage and hold elected officials accountable to implement policies that will advance our mission: strengthen parental involvement and decision-making, increase transparency, defend against government supremacy and safeguard parental responsibility. rights at all levels of government.
Today (Wednesday) I was pleased to virtually meet Curtis Bashaw, candidate for the US Senate in New Jersey. I have pressed Mr. Bashaw about the concerns I have about the Department of Education’s dangerous policies, which are passing laws that not only threaten parental rights and harm our most vulnerable, but also the most sacred system, which of the family, dismantling.
While I understand that some conservatives have questioned Mr. Bashaw’s position on certain issues, my focus today was on hearing his position on teaching gender ideology in schools, including sexual
explicit material in schools, allowing biological males into girls’ bathrooms, locker rooms and sports activities – as these issues have a direct impact on our ability to provide a safe and prosperous environment for our children.
Not only did Mr. Bashaw enthusiastically voice his support for the parenting rights movement, he agreed with all of the above issues and signed our Moms for Liberty Parent Pledge. We look forward to continuing this
having important conversations and working together to restore parental rights for the safety of our children.”

Opinion polls give Democrat Andy Kim a healthy lead in the battle for the U.S. Senate. That makes it imperative for Bashaw to have all Republicans on his side if he has any chance of stirring up an unrest.

This kind of support can help.
