The weigh-in drama

At Thursday night’s weigh-in, Tyson punched Paul in the face during their final meeting before Friday’s fight in the ring.

The fighters were immediately separated and Paul jokingly punched himself and laughed after the incident.

However, that was before he went into an expletive-laden tirade.

“I didn’t even feel it,” Paul said later. ‘He’s angry, he’s an angry elf. Mike Tyson, I thought that was a cute slap buddy, but tomorrow you’re going to get knocked out. I conquer him, I conquer him. He hits like a bitch. It’s personal now. It’s personal now. He must die.”

The punch came in response to Paul stepping on Tyson’s toe, which he said was on purpose.

“I was wearing my socks and he was wearing shoes,” Tyson told The Post shortly after the weigh-in. “He stepped on my toe because he’s a big asshole. I wanted to think it happened by accident. But now I think it might have been done on purpose. I was in a lot of pain. I had to give an answer.”
