The biggest night in country music is almost here! The 58th annual Country Music Association Awards, or CMA Awards, are quickly approaching, with some of country music’s most famous names set to take the stage to perform.

Each year, more than 6,000 members of the Country Music Association come together to determine which artists will take home top awards, such as Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year and Female and Male Vocalists of the Year, according to the CMA’s website Awards. .

For the 2024 ceremony, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson will compete to see who will be named Entertainer of the Year. Combs, Stapleton and Jelly Roll also join Kacey Musgraves and Cody Johnson in the album of the year category. The full list of nominees hoping to snag a coveted crystal CMA trophy can be found here.

Stapleton is expected to be in the spotlight all evening as he will open the ceremony with a performance alongside Post Malone. The duo recently collaborated on a song on Malone’s country album “F-1 Trillion,” released in August, called “California Sober.”

There will also be a tribute honoring George Strait, who will receive the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achieve Award, according to the CMA Awards website.

To present these and other awards during the show, the CMA Awards have brought in Simone Biles, Jeff Bridges, Freddie Freeman, Don Johnson, Little Big Town, Billy Bob Thornton and many more stars.

When are the 2024 CMA Awards?

The 2024 CMA Awards will air live on Wednesday, November 20 at 8:00 PM ET/7:00 PM CT from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

Where to watch and stream the 2024 CMA Awards

The ceremony will be broadcast on ABC, home of the CMA Awards since 2006, according to the Country Music Association. Cable subscribers can also stream the show on ABC.com.

The awards ceremony will be available to stream on Hulu the following day.

For the 2024 CMA Awards, country star Lainey Wilson is not only a nominee and performer, but also a presenter. Wilson will host alongside country singer Luke Bryan and retired NFL star Peyton Manning.
