On Friday, September 6, the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers will kick off the 2024 NFL season in a rather unusual way. The two historic franchises are scheduled to face off in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in the first NFL game ever to be held on the continent of South America. While Friday’s unusual matchup wasn’t without its pitfalls, players and fans alike are ready for the season to begin.

Eagles-Packers isn’t available on standard viewing platforms, however. Instead, it’s another NFL Peacock exclusive. Here’s how to tune in and watch.

What channel will the match be broadcast on?

If you live outside of Philadelphia or Green Bay, the Eagles-Packers game is not available on cable. There is no secret channel. You won’t miss a thing. It streams exclusively on Peacock.

If you live in the Greater Philadelphia or Greater Green Bay area, don’t worry. The game will be available on your local NBC affiliate.

For Philadelphians, Eagles-Packers will be broadcast live on NBC10. For Green Bayns, NBC26 will be the place to watch the game.

Eagles-Packers will be broadcast live and exclusively on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service. A Peacock subscription is required to watch the game, and is completely separate from any NBC subscription you may have through a cable or broadcast package.

If you want to skip the ads, you can sign up for a “Premium Plus” subscription, which includes no ads while streaming shows and lets you download shows from the app to watch offline (and access your local NBC affiliate). The Premium Plus tier costs $13.99 per month or $139.99 per year.

Is there a promotion available for the 2024 NFL season?

No, there is not. If you live outside of local markets and want to use Eagles-Packers, you will have to pay full freight for a Peacock subscription.
