Rigondeaux is a traditional Cuban style, but he will always be dear to me because he inspired the article that solidified my presence and continued employment as a writer here early in my tenure at Bad Left Hook. AND the undercard features Gabe Rosado, who is not only one of my favorite interview subjects but also an up-and-coming (and exceptionally insightful) boxing commentator, fighting former MMA and bare-knuckle champion Luis “Baboon” Palomino for a commemorative WBC award.
