The Lions continue to test the NFC North with their tough efforts. Since losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2, the team has managed to come away with wins week after week. Sometimes they blow out their opponents; other weeks they barely come out on top. That was the case last week on Sunday Night Football, when, despite Jared Goff throwing five interceptions, the Lions rallied from a 16-point deficit on the road against the Houston Texans, using two Jake Bates field goals to rally back to pull. a 26-23 victory.

The Lions are first in the NFC North, just one game ahead of the Minnesota Vikings.

The Jaguars were expected to be similar to the Lions, at least in the fact that they would compete for a division title. This season, however, things have not gone according to plan at all.
