The Washington Capitals are back in action today against the Columbus Blue Jackets. But with a back-to-back weekend, the puck drop comes at an odd time.

The Capitals-Blue Jackets game airs at 5 p.m. and will be on Monumental Sports Network. Joe Beninati and Craig Laughlin will be called.

The Capitals will look to continue their good start to the year, which has seen them win seven of their first nine games. With a win, they could take over first place in the Metropolitan Division from the New Jersey Devils with four games to go.
