Tens of thousands of people reported problems using the Hulu streaming service on Thursday evening.

According to Downdetector, the most reported issues related to login attempts. Nearly a third of the issues were related to video streaming services and 5% were related to app issues.

People started reporting issues with Hulu around 8:34 PM on Thursday, with 40 reports documented on downdetector.

The number of complaints peaked at around 9:04 p.m. at around 84,750, Downdetector reported. Hours later, those reports gradually dropped to about 1,500 at 11:04 p.m

“We are seeing service improvements as we actively work to resolve a technical issue impacting live playback and login errors on Hulu,” Hulu wrote on X on Thursday at 11:72 p.m. “We apologize for the inconvenience.”

According to data from downdetector, fewer than 600 issues have been reported since October 18 at 12:04 AM.

“The technical issue impacting live playback and login errors on Hulu has been resolved,” Hulu wrote in a separate X-post on Friday at 12:18 p.m. “Thank you for your patience and once again we apologize for the inconvenience.”
