Streaming the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens NFL game on Christmas Day is a big deal for Netflix. If that’s not enough, the game’s halftime show will feature Texas home cooking from one of the biggest music artists in the world.

Beyonce will perform in her hometown at NRG Stadium on December 25 as part of Netflix’s Christmas Day doubleheader. The Texas-born singer will perform at halftime, which starts at 4:25 p.m. Details about Beyonce’s performance have not yet been released, but Netflix confirms that there are “expected to be some special guests featured on the Cowboy Carter album.” This can range from Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Shaboozey and more. The performance will be the first time Beyoncé has performed songs from “Cowboy Carter” live.

“Cowboy Carter,” Beyonce’s eighth No. 1 album, was released in March and is highly praised as one of the most influential country albums of all time. She has also received the most nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards, with eleven, including Album of the Year.

Beyonce is no stranger to NFL appearances. The beloved singer played Super Bowl XV with Coldplay and Bruno Mars in 2016, after performing in Super Bowl XLVII with Destiny’s Child in 2013.

Netflix’s announcement comes days after the service hosted a boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, with some complaining about the quality of the stream.
