The legendary hotel and casino, Tropicana Las Vegas, goes out with a bang today as the iconic building implodes.

The hotel will be demolished in a ceremony to make room for a future baseball stadium.

The infamous resort opened in 1957 and closed its doors for good earlier this year on April 2.

Significant airborne dust is expected following demolition, and an air quality dust advisory is being issued by the Clark County Department of Environment & Sustainability.
